The Antlion Queen is a Pre-Hardmode boss that resembles a massive Antlion Swarmer. She is the first and is currently the only Pre-hardmode boss in the mod.

Spawn

The Antlion Queen can not spawn on her own and requires the player to summon her with a Antlion Doll in the Desert biome. Summoning her requires Queen Bee to be defeated.

Behavior

The boss battle will be accompanied by the Sandstorm event.

Attacks

• The Antlion Queen will fly near the ground, summoning Sandnados which will throw the player up into the air.
• The Antlion Queen dashes from top to bottom, or from left to right and then from right to left.
• The Antlion Queen rapidly shoots sand blocks at the player.
• The Antlion Queen will fly up and crash down, ramming the player.
• Once The Antlion Queen reaches 15% of her health, she will also start summoning falling sand blocks from the air.

Expert Mode

• The Antlion Queen's health will increase from 6850 to 8150.
• The Antlion Queen will summon Antlion Chargers alongside the Antlion Swarmers, and moves way faster.

Notes

• Leaving the Desert results in The Antlion Queen going into enraged mode, in which she moves much faster and deals more damage.
• The Antlion Queen's theme is Panic among the Pyramids.

Tips

• Building a long platform above the fight arena will prevent the falling sand blocks from hitting you.
